A local homeless man has been charged following the burglary of a business last month in downtown Butler.
According to Butler City Police, the incident occurred sometime during the overnight hours between September 26th and 27th at Penn Street Pizza.
As a result of an investigation, Dustin Scott was charged with Burglary and Theft by Unlawful Taking.
Police believe Scott returned to the restaurant sometime after closing and made forcible entry. He is accused of stealing $120 in cash including $9 from a candy sale fundraiser.
