Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed during his weekly press conference Tuesday that Devlin Hodges will remain the starting quarterback this week when the team travels to Arizona. Kick-off is 4:25pm. Tomlin said James Conner and Juju Smith-Schuster are getting closer to returning from injury, but their status is still “questionable” this week.
The Carolina Panthers have fired head coach Ron Rivera, who has been with the team since 2011. The Panthers have battled injuries this season, and are 5-7. Rivera is 76-63-1 in his career and led Carolina to a Super Bowl appearance, an NFC championship and three NFC South titles.
