Three men from Alabama have been charged with assaulting a local man in Washington Township earlier this week.
According to State Police, the incident began when an unnamed 30-year-old man from Hilliards stole a large piece of heavy equipment.
Then on Thursday between 9 and 10 p.m. three men in their 20s from Tuscaloosa assaulted the first man at a residence on Oneida Valley Road. That man was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with severe injuries to his face and chest.
The three men have been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct while the Hilliards native has been charged with theft, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
