A man was reportedly rescued after he fell over a hillside at McConnells Mill State Park on Tuesday evening.
WPXI is reporting the hiker fell roughly 30 feet and rescuers had a hard time getting him up the hill.
Rescuers had to use ropes and a stokes basket to lift the man to safety. He was then flown by medical helicopter to the hospital.
The fall happened in the area of Kildoo Falls, near the Kildoo Bridge.
Both park managers were unavailable for comment on Wednesday morning but a representative in the office said the park is open for business as usual today.
McConnells Mill State Park is located just across the Butler County border in Lawrence County and is a popular spot for local hikers and sightseers.
