Slippery Rock University’s Tyler Walter hit two home runs Wednesday in The Rock’s doubleheader sweep of Alderson Broaddus and has become the all-time home run leader in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. He now has 47.
The doubleheader sweep improved The Rock to 25-11 overall, ensuring them of a winning season for the 31st time in the 32 years under head coach Jeff Messer, who is now 11 victories away from 1,000 in his career.
