High School Sports:
Girls Golf:–Natalie Welsh of Mars led the field int he WPIAL Class 3A Section-1 Girls Golf qualifier Wednesday at Conley’s. Welsh fired a -2 under 70. Pine-Richland’s Lauren Freyvogel shot a 71. Kennedy Johnston of Seneca Valley was at even par 72. They have qualified for the WPIAL championship at Diamond Run Golf Club on Wednesday, October 4th. Victoria Witouski of Mars, along with Hannah Folk and Maggie Feczko of Butler also qualified.
