The Butler girls Track & Field team clinched a WPIAL Triple-A playoff spot with a 90-60 victory over North Allegheny. Butler improved to 7-0. The 3200-meter relay team of Alexis Leech, Erin LeMay, Maggie Welty and Liz Simms ran the second fastest time in the state. Leech went on to win the 400 and 200-meter runs, while anchoring the 1600-meter run to a victory. Simms also won the 800-meter run. Liz Rakers won the javelin, Kylee Lewandowski won the high jump and Jena Reinheimer won the discus. Their next meet is the 53rd annual Butler Invitational April 21st.
