High School Sports Scores from Thursday:
Boys Soccer:
Freeport-6 Valley-1. Bryce Hanby had a hat trick for the Yellow Jackets.
Girls Soccer:
Freeport-7 East Allegheny-0. The Yellow Jackets held E.A. without a shot.
Girls Golf:
Butler defeated Seneca Valley 169-180. Liz Rakers and Hannah Folk led Butler with 39’s. Seneca Valley’s Kennedy Johnston led all golfers with a 38. Butler improved to 11-3 overall and 8-2 in their section.
Hannah Folk and Maggie Feczko will represent the Tornado at the WPIAL Individual Championships next Wednesday at Treesdale.
Girls Volleyball:

For the Rockets: Carlee McClymonds 10 kills, 14 digs, 5 aces. Lexi Romeo 5 kills, 12 digs. Morgan Malinski 23 assists, 3 aces.
The Butler High Cross Country Teams travelled to Hartwood Acres Thursday to face Hampton and Shaler. Both Boys and Girls downed Shaler as they ran away from the
Titans easily: – Boys 16 to 47. – Girls 15 to 50.
In the battle against Hampton, Junior Stars Maggie Welty and Noah Beveridge again
led the way with first place finishes in each race respectively as both girls and boys routed the Talbots. The Girls crushing Hampton 15 to 46. The Boys downing Hampton 25 to 30.
Also running strong races in helping the Tornado boys and girls to the wins, were Junior Brett Brady, Senior Steven Patterson, Junior Camden Seybert and sophomore Aden Dressler. For the Girls it was Junior Erin Lemay, Seniors Michaela Brydon and Lucy Lewis, Juniors Carly Bauer, Emma Lemay and newcomer, Freshman Chelsey Kabel.
Both teams now stand at 4 and 2 on the season.
The Tornado XC teams finish out the dual meet portion of the season next Thursday at North Park against North Hills and Mars.
