High School Sports results from Monday:
Girls Soccer:
Butler defeated Shaler on the road last night 1-0 in overtime. Alyssa Lapusnak scored the game-winner with 2:15 left in the first overtime. The Golden Tornado are off to a 4-0 start and host Pine-Richland Wednesday at 7:30pm. The game will be played at the Butler Intermediate high school.
Freeport shut-out Valley 4-0. Sydney Shemansky led the Yellow Jackets with two goals.
Seneca Valley-2 North Allegheny-1.
Karns City-6 Redbank Valley-0. Megan McCartney scored twice for the Gremlins.
Mars-16 McKeesport-0.
Franklin Regional-10 Knoch-0.

The Butler Doubles teams won both of their matches, while Mars swept the Singles matches.
