Boys Soccer:
–Butler-4 North Hills-1. Justin Stewart netted a hat trick for Butler. Josh Burlingham had the other Butler goal.
–Freeport-6 Karns City-0. Bryce Hanby led the Yellow Jackets with two goals and an assist.

–CW North Catholic-10 Carlynton-1. Joe Kearney had a hat trick for the Trojans. It was the fourth time this season North Catholic scored 10 goals.
Girls Volleyball:
–Butler-3 North Hills-0. Scores were 25-23, 25-22 and 25-20. Maria Lucas led Butler with 12-kills, 13-digs and three aces. Tabitha Walker had nine kills, 17-digs and 14-assists. Hope Fiorina had 22-digs. The team will host Shaler Thursday in a big section match with the JV match starting at 6pm. It is also the team’s annual “Dig Pink” match, raising funds for the local Butler County Breast Cancer Support Group. Please come out to support the cause!

–South Fayette-3 CW North Catholic-1.
The Butler Boys and Girls Cross Country teams completed their dual-meet schedule with sweeps of Mars and North Hills. Noah Beveridge and Brett Brady led the field in the Boys event. The Butler Boys finished the season 7-1.
The Butler Girls were led by Autumn Pettinato, who was second overall. They finished their season 6-2. The Tornado will comete in the annual Mack Cooper Classic Saturday, October 14th at Cooper’s Lake Campground. After that they return to Cooper’s Lake for the WPIAL Championships Thursday, October 26th.
