Butler Girls Soccer team fell to Moon 2-1. Odile Enslen scored the only Butler goal. Moon, ranked 2nd in Triple-A, trailed 1-0 at halftime, but scored two second half goals for the win. Moon improved to 6-0. Butler is now 4-2. They visit North Hills today.
Eight different Lady Gremlins scored goals in Karns City’s 12-0 win over Keystone. Haley Scherer had a hat trick to lead the Gremlins.
Freeport Boys Soccer team defeated Mt. Pleasant 2-1 in overtime. Kevin Lynch scored the game-winner in overtime. Steve Teorsky scored the other Freeport goal. Yellow Jackets goal-keeper Austin Uric netted 16 saves.
