High School Sport Scores from Thursday:
Boys Soccer:
Freeport completed a perfect section season with a 2-1 win in overtime over Deer Lakes. The game featured a scoreless first half at Freeport Stadium, before Deer Lakes took a 1-0 lead early in the second half. Freeport senior captain Kevin Lynch scored the game-tying goal mid-way through the second half. Bryce Hanby scored the game-winner in the fourth minute of overtime on a pass from Steve Teorsky. Freeport goal-keeper Austin Uric made 18 saves. Freeport wins the Section-2 Double-A title for the first time since 1999.
Karns City improved to 15-0 overall with an 8-0 win over Dubois Central Catholic. Spenser Myers netted five goals. Jace Ebbitt had a goal and an assist and became the Gremlins all-time single season leader in assists. He has 26 for the season. Karns City is the only team to have defeated Freeport in non-section play this year.

Elle Santora of Knoch reached the WPIAL Double-A Singles championship Thursday. Santora won back-to-back 10-1 matches in the opening rounds, before defeating Anne Taylor of Beaver 6-1, 6-1 in the semi-finals. She will face Katherine Marks of OLSH in the championship.
Girls Golf:
North Allegheny won the WPIAL Girls Golf Triple-A Championship at Cedarbrook Golf Club by one stroke over Shady Side Academy. The Butler Girls finished fourth overall. Among the members of the Golden Tornado team this season were seniors Liz Rakers and Caroline Piccola.
In the Boys Triple-A championship: Central Catholic by a stroke over Fox Chapel. Seneca Valley was fourth.
Girls Volleyball:
North Allegheny-3 Butler-0. (25-19, 25-22, 25-21). Emily Archer had five kills and three digs, Erin Fullerton had five kills and three blocks for Butler.
Butler will host Seneca Valley for Senior night Tuesday.
