High School Sports:
The Butler Cross Country teams swept a dual meet with Mars and North Hills Tuesday. Sophomores C.J. Singleton and Sage Vavro led Butler as the Golden Tornado Boys improved to 4-0. Seniors Chelsey Kavel and Autumn Pettinato led the Butler Girls who improved to 3-1.
Boys Soccer:
–Freeport defeated Valley 5-0. Isaac Wetzel led the Yellow Jackets with a hat trick. Addison Street added two goals. Freeport improved to 5-2-1 overall.
–Fox Chapel defeated Butler 11-1.
–Seneca Valley-4 Allderdice-2.
–Indiana-2 Knoch-0.
–Mars-2 Hampton-1.
Girls Volleyball:
–Seneca Valley-3 North Hills-0.
–Knoch-3 Ambridge-0.
–Mars-3 Lincoln Park-1.

Girls Tennis:
–North Allegheny-5 Butler-0.
Girls Golf:
–Fox Chapel defeated Butler 175-187. Paige Scott led Butler with a 41. Butler fell to 8-2 and 5-2 in section play.
Butler County Community College golfer Carmen Oliva was the runner-up out of 31 golfers at the Bernie Guss Golf Classic hosted by Penn State- New Kensington at the Links at Spring Church Golf Course Tuesday. Oliva shot an 81, two strokes behind the medalist.
