The WPIAL Wrestling Team Sectionals begin Wednesday. Butler will visit Fox Chapel at 7pm in a fifth-place qualifier. Seneca Valley face North Hills at Shaler high school in the semi-finals.
Pine-Richland defensive lineman Matt Hampson has committed to Princeton. Hampson received numerous post-season honors following his senior season with the Rams.
Pitt received a verbal committment from Amir Watts, a defensive lineman from Chicago. Watts is the Panthers fifth four-star recruit according to Rivals. He chose Pitt over Penn State, Nebraska and Missouri.
