High School Sports Scores from Tuesday:
The Butler boys and girls cross country teams split with North Allegheny and Shaler in a dual meet. The North Allegheny girls have won six straight state titles, and held off Butler 19-41. Butler defeated Shaler 15-50. Zari Golojuth led the Golden Tornado with a third place finish. Maci McLister was fourth. The N.A. boys defeated Butler 23-34, while the Golden Tornado defeated Shaler 15-50. Brendan Eicher led Butler with a third place finish just ahead of teammate Ethan Thomas.
Boys Soccer:
–Seneca Valley-5 Fox Chapel-1. Tyler Prex scored four of the goals for the Raiders. After a slow start to their season, Seneca Valley has now won three matches in a row and have outscored their opponents 17-3. The Raiders are 9-4 overall and 4-3 in section play. Fox Chapel dropped to 7-3-1 overall and 5-2 in Class 4A Section 3.

–Shaler defeated Knoch 3-2 in double overtime.
–Karns City-6 Punxsutawney-0.
–Mars-3 Indiana-1. The Planets avenging an early season loss to the Little Indians. Mars improved to 9-1-3 overall and 7-1-2 in Class 3A Section 1. Indiana fell to 11-2 overall and 8-2 in the section.
