Baseball:
–Seneca Valley defeated Central Catholic 3-2.
–Moon-11 Butler-4. (both Butler and Seneca Valley have clinched WPIAL playoff berths.)
–Knoch-7 Highlands-6. (Knoch has clinched a playoff berth).
–Ellwood City-9 North Catholic-3.
–Pine-Richland-6 North Hills-1. (Pine-Richland has clinched the top seed in Section-1.)
–Slippery Rock defeated Grove City 9-6.
–North Clarion-9 AC Valley-6.
–Clarion-Limestone-1 Moniteau-0. Both teams had just one hit. With the victory, Clarion-Limestone clinched their first Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference championship since 2011. (Clarion-Limestone’s pitcher Hayden Callen allowed just a swinging-bunt single to the Warriors, nine days after he threw a no-hitter against Redbank Valley.)
Softball:
