Girls Soccer:
–Butler-9 CW North Catholic-0. McKenna Robinson scored twice for the Golden Tornado, while Liz Simms had a goal and four assists. Gabby Bowden had two goals and an assist. The Trojans had entered the game ranked third in Single-A.
–Knoch-5 Highlands-0.
–Mars-3 North Hills-0.
Girls Volleyball:
–Butler-3 Mars-0. Scores were 25-21, 26-24 and 25-12. Maria Lucas led the Golden Tornado with 11-kills, 28-digs and two aces. Hope Fiorina had four aces and eight digs. The Golden Tornado travel to compete in the Moon Invitational Saturday.
–The Butler Middle School Cross Country teams swept Knoch and Shaler in a dual meet Wednesday. Cody Reep, Raine Gratzmiller and Sage Vavro swept the Boys top three spots. Jennifer Cichra, Aubree Tack and Carmen Skal swept the top three Girls spots.
