Its high school musical season around the Butler County area and several local schools are kicking things off over the next few days.
Tickets to see the classic musical The Wizard of Oz at Karns City High School Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. are $10 and available at the High School. A Saturday matinee show begins at 2.
Seneca Valley is preparing their toe-tapping all-school musical Mama Mia, with shows beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as well as 2 p.m. matinee shows Saturday and Sunday in the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School Auditorium. Tickets are available online.
Finally, the curtain will rise on the Freeport performance of High School Musical on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Freeport Area Middle School while Allegheny-Clarion Valley students get ready for their musical “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” beginning Thursday at 7.
