Senior center Cornelius Brown scored 23 points and grabbed 22 rebounds as the Slippery Rock University men’s basketball team overcame a sluggish first half to cruise to a 94-73 victory against Penn State Greater Allegheny Monday night at Morrow Field House. The non-conference victory improved The Rock’s record to 6-4 on the season. PSU Allegheny fell to 3-6 in the defeat.
The victory was also win No. 144 for head coach Kevin Reynolds at Slippery Rock. He is now tied for second place in Rock history for career wins with Hank Baierl (1958-70) after just over seven seasons in charge of the program.
