Karns City 64, Redbank Valley 46
Behind its big three of Emily Hegedus, Alyssa Gibson and Makenzie Craig, Karns City closed out the regular season in style with a 64-46 win at Redbank Valley in KSAC South action.
Hegedus led the Lady Gremlins with 24 points including going 14 of 18 from the free-throw line, while Gibson chipped in 19 tallies and Craig 17.

Boys:
–This Saturday (Feb 18) in Class 3-A: Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic (17-5) will meet Burrell (8-14) at North Hills high school at 1:30pm.
The 6-A first round will begin next Wednesday (February 22nd).
–Butler (14-8) will meet Baldwin (15-7) at North Allegheny high school. Tip-off is 6:30pm. (Hear the game on WBUT 1050am and at wbut.com beginning at 6:20pm.)
–Canon-McMillan (17-5) will face North Allegheny (14-8) at North Hills high school at 8pm.
–Pine-Richland was one of four teams to receive a first round “bye”.

–In 4-A: Freeport (15-7) will face South Fayette (12-10) Wednesday, Feb. 22nd at North Catholic high school. Tip-off is 8pm.

In Class 5-A today (Feb 17):
–Mars (16-6) will face Montour (11-11) at North Hills high school at 6:30pm.
In Class 4-A Saturday (Feb 18):
–Freeport (13-9) will meet Elizabeth Forward (12-10) at Fox Chapel high school at 3pm.
–Deer Lakes (9-12) will face Beaver (15-5) at North Hills high school at 3pm.
–Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic received a first round “bye”.
In Class 6-A next Tuesday (Feb 21st):
