At least one person was seriously injured as a result of an accident in Franklin Township Friday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 4 p.m. for a crash on Route 422 near Michaels Restaurant.
Crews from Prospect and Unionville responded to the scene to find a motorcycle had collided with a tractor trailer.
Two helicopters were requested at the scene along with two ambulances to treat what early reports called some kind of amputation. A portion of Route 422 needed to be shutdown.
