A longtime Pittsburgh-based investment firm is merging with another company.
Hefren-Tillotsen announced late Monday that they would be joining with Baird, a financial services firm out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In an email to clients, Hefren-Tillotsen said it was important to keep the organization privately owned and cited Baird’s reputation for local community involvement.
The deal is expected to close in June, with a full integration by the fall.
