A hearing will be held this week on the sale of two former Butler Area School District elementary schools.
This is the last step in the process before both Meridian and Clearfield elementary schools can be sold to their respective buyers.
The hearing will take place before a Butler County judge Thursday at 1 p.m.
Earlier this year, the Butler school board accepted a $425,000 bid for Meridian Elementary from Michael Wright and his business 70E Solutions.
Owners of local business CNC Malt has offered $235,000 for Clearfield Elementary.
The judge is required to consider any other bidders that come forward at Thursday’s hearing.
