Health officials say the rollout of Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program is still on schedule.
State Secretary of Health Dr. Karen Murphy said Wednesday that hundreds of applicants have asked for licenses to grow or sell marijuana in Pennsylvania but she declined to release the names of the people applying or the locations where they want to grow or sell the drug.
Officials say addresses would be made public after permits were awarded, which is scheduled to happen by the end of June.
The Wolf administration will give out 12 grower licenses and 27 permits that would allow up to 81 dispensaries across the state.
