It may be spring, but flu season isn’t over yet.
Officials say while this flu season has been less severe than last, there is still flu circulating with the H3N2 strain, which can be more serious.
If you haven’t done so already and haven’t had the flu this season, Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Levine says it’s still not too late to get a flu shot.
There have been just around 1,200 reported cases of the flu in Butler County this season, according to data up through last week. In Pennsylvania, 100 residents have died from the flu, including two children.
Flu season usually wraps up in May.
