If you’re planning to head to the northern tier of the state, expect more than a foot of snow.
The National Weather Service is calling for the possibility of 16 to 20 inches for southern Erie County through Wednesday. A Winter Storm Watch for heavy lake-effect snow has been issued through Wednesday afternoon.
Winter Storm Watches are also in place in Crawford County and Warren County.
Travel will be very difficult to impossible, according to the forecast.
