Police are providing more information after a HAZMAT team was called to a home in Slippery Rock.
State police responded to a home Sunday afternoon in the 200 block of Elm Street for a report of a deceased man.
When police got on scene, they called for the Butler County HAZMAT team to help identify unknown substances that were in the house.
While police have not identified those substances, a state police spokesperson says that the substances “were not related to a meth lab” and that there was no evidence of a meth lab at the home.
They also say there was no raid at the home.
An autopsy is scheduled for today; at the moment police do not believe any foul play was suspected.
