Police are looking for a man from Harmony who they believe was involved in a fight that left another man seriously hurt.
Christopher Beck, 36, of Harmony is wanted by Butler City Police on felony aggravated assault charges. An arrest warrant for Beck was issued on Thursday.
The fight actually happened back in June. Police were called to a home on Liberty Street in Butler after reports of a fight. They say they found a man “severely bleeding” from the mouth, according to a police criminal complaint.
The victim told police that Beck showed up at his house and attacked him over a disagreement about a lost wallet. He said Beck hit him, causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness. He said when he tried to get up, Beck struck him four more times in the mouth.
Police say the victim ended up in a Pittsburgh hospital and had to undergo surgery on his mouth.
Beck fled the scene prior to police arrival.
