The Harmony Fire District is honoring and remembering four firefighters who were taken too soon.
According to the district’s Facebook page, six years ago Tuesday three active members- Sam, Trevor & Elijah- were killed in a tragic car accident. And then, three years ago, the department’s Assistant Chief Doug passed away.
Tuesday, in fitting fashion, the department received new memorial helmet stickers to reflect and honor the four firemen. The stickers display each of the men’s names around a decal that reads ‘Never Forget’ with the department’s station number 22.
The Harmony Fire District serves the communities of Harmony, Jackson, Lancaster and Zelienople.
