High School Sports:
Softball:
–Seneca Valley-3 Hempfield-0. Lexi Hames tossed a one-hitter while striking out 18 as the Raiders clinched the Class 6A Section-1 title. Hames also hit a three-run home run. For the season, the Raiders pitcher is now 15-1 this season with 250 strikeouts in 107 innings. Seneca Valley will have a first round “bye” entering the WPIAL playoffs next week.
Baseball:
