The GWFC’s Masquerade ball is this weekend and tickets are still available.
Twilight Magic Masquerade will be held at the Mansion in Butler, which is a new location this year, on Saturday, March 5 from 6p-11pm. This is the 15th year for the event, although this year it has a different theme.
Masquerade masks and dresses are encouraged, although participants are welcome to come in cocktail gown attire if desired.
There will be hors d’oeuvre, drinks, music, dancing, basket raffle and a silent auction.
This is a fundraiser to benefit other organizations. The three beneficiaries will be Camp Lutheran, the McQuiston Backpack Initiative and Tiny Girl Big Dream.
The money for Camp Lutheran will go towards campers who may not financially be able to afford a week at camp. The McQuiston Backpack Initiative sends food home on the weekend for underprivileged kids. Tiny Girl Big Dream has teamed with RW McDonald & Sons to build friendship benches at two local schools. The friendship bench is a safe zone for kids who don’t know each other to sit and talk.
Tickets are still for the masquerade at the links below.
