Two Butler residents are in jail after police showed up at their home to investigate a report of gun shots and then allegedly found drugs.
Keith Reges, 28, and Norma Reges, 42, were arrested Monday at their home in the 200 block of Second Street.
Police received a call from a neighbor Sunday night who believed he heard what sounded like shots in the area.
The Reges pair alleged that several other people were at their home that evening and two of them had gotten into an argument outside. One of them allegedly fired a shot.
According to court documents, Norma Reges gave permission for police to search the home. Officers allegedly found four small marijuana plants in a closet.
Both remain in the Butler County Prison.
