Two residents of neighboring Mercer County have been arrested following a traffic stop last week.
According to Grove City Police, officers stopped a vehicle on West Main Street for a traffic violation last Tuesday (3/8) shortly after 8:30 p.m.
Police located and seized a large amount of suspected heroin/fentanyl, crystal meth, and other drug paraphernalia as well as a large amount of cash. An investigation determined 57-year-old Thomas Pektas and 41-year-old Jason Myers both of Volant were the occupants of the vehicle.
Both defendants were booked into the Mercer County Jail pending arraignment on charges including drug possession and delivery as well as several driving and vehicle violations.
