The Grove City Police are investigating after a motorcyclist was injured in an accident earlier this month on Pine Street.
Authorities say around 1:30pm on Friday June 12th, a SUV driven by 64-year-old Margaret Zinkham of Grove City was traveling on Pine Street when she was prepared to turn left onto Winfield Drive.
Officials say that Zinkham failed to see 56-year-old Douglas Parker of Grove City traveling in the opposite direction on his motorcycle on Pine Street. Police say that Parker acted quickly, and was able to lay his bike down to avoid a collision with Zinkham.
Parker was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries. Zinkham was cited by police for a left turn violation.
