A group of residents in Adams Township is looking to build a new state-of-the-art aquatics center in the area.
According to our news partners at WPXI, the Adams Township Training and Aquatics Community Center (or ATTACC) is the group behind the effort to build a 50 meter competition pool.
The group went to local officials and would like to build it on the Adams Township Municipal Park. But, there’s a hefty price—the group estimates the facility could cost in between $20-$60 million.
The group is currently trying to raise funds in order to conduct a feasibility study. If the project were to move forward, it would still be years away from breaking ground.
