Election Day was last week, but if you want to run in a future election to sit on your local school board, an information session will be held on Monday.
The South Butler School Action Committee will host the forum titled “How To Run For School Board” beginning at 7 p.m. at ABBA’s House in Saxonburg.
Anyone considering a run for South Butler County School Board in 2019 can learn about the timeline and deadlines required for paperwork, as well as qualifications and reporting for candidates.
The South Butler School Action Committee is made up of community members within the district to inspire positive community engagement, which in turns benefits students.
