Here locally, Moraine State Park celebrated Groundhog Day Thursday with a ‘Ground Hog Stomp.’
Hikers marched to the top of the Hilltop Trail this morning on the lake’s South Shore. Snowshoes were available.
Organizers say there we no actual ground hogs stomped on today’s hike.
