High School Sports:
–Emily and Lindsey Greb of Knoch won the WPIAL Class 2A Doubles Tennis Championship Thursday at North Allegheny high school when they defeated Kirsten Close and Roshni Thakkar of Sewickley Academy 6-4, 6-3 in the title match. The twin sisters, who are sophomores at Knoch, advance to the PIAA tournament.
Butler golfer Paige Scott fell one stroke short of the PIAA tournament after a round of 77 Thursday during the WPIAL 3A Championship. Scott tied for eighth place, with the top seven advancing to the state tournament.
Boys Soccer:

–Seneca Valley-7 Pine-Richland-0. Nathan Prex scored three goals for the Raiders.

–Knoch and Freeport battled to a scoreless tie in overtime.

Girls Soccer:
–North Catholic-10 Ambridge-1. Jayden Sharpless scored four goals for the Trojanettes. North Catholic is now 11-1 this season.
