The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs has announced that grant applications in different areas are now being accepted.
Up to $650,000 is available through the awarding of competitive grants from the Veterans Trust Fund.
Some grants will be awarded to veterans service organizations and non-profit groups with a mission of serving areas of need for veterans like homelessness, post-traumatic stress injury, behavioral health, and other unique health services. Other grants are available for County Directors of Veterans Affairs focusing on veteran outreach programs, veteran court programs, or other unmet needs of veterans.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, November, 18th. For more information, visit vtf.pa.gov.
