Museums and other cultural organizations are encouraged to take advantage of $20 million in grant funding available from the federal government through the state.
The Commonwealth Financing Authority has approved program guidelines for the COVID-19 Cultural and Museum Preservation Grant Program to reimburse some revenue lost due to the pandemic.
In order to collect a grant of between $25,000 and $500,000, institutions must meet specific eligibility requirements. Funds must be used to offset revenue loss due to the disaster emergency declaration.
Applications will be accepted through the end of July by visiting the website of the Department of Community and Economic Development.
