The Governor of Pennsylvania has declared a state of emergency before a storm expected to roll in tomorrow afternoon.
Governor Tom Wolf made the call Thursday as a strong winter storm is expected to dump significant snow across large portions of the state between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
Locally, the most recent forecast has the Butler County area receiving only one to three inches but areas further south could get as much as a foot of snow.
A Winter Weather Advisory is expected to go into effect for Allegheny County Friday afternoon.
