2017 has arrived and with it, a renewed commitment in Harrisburg.
Governor Tom Wolf says he wants to continue working toward improving education in Pennsylvania and he doesn’t want to lose momentum in the fight against heroin.
He says he’s also thinking about the state’s economy and the personal finances of Pennsylvania families and that means property tax reform is still a main concern.
There’s also a budget to be worked out but the governor opened the process by revealing that he’s not seeking any broad-based tax increases in his 3rd budget proposal to be delivered to lawmakers in just over a month.
