The number of coronavirus cases in Pennsylvania is now at 22.
Governor Tom Wolf addressed reporters yesterday, saying that he is encouraging state residents to participate in “social distancing.” Wolf explains.
“I’m strongly encouraging large gatherings, especially those with more than 250 attendees to be canceled or postponed,” Wolf said. “Secondly, I’m discouraging people from going to recreational activities in public places like gyms, movie theaters, and stores. And third, I’m asking religious leaders to use their discretion to prevent the spread of illness through the congregations and communities.”
There has yet to be a confirmed case in Western Pennsylvania.
