With the winter season in full swing, Governor Tom Wolf and PennDOT want drivers to be safe in hazardous conditions.
They urge drivers to check all fluid levels, lights and wiper blades frequently, as well as making sure tires have the correct tire-pressure, and tread-depth.
Drivers should also keep an emergency kit in their car in case of an accident. The kit should contain items such as non-perishable food, water, first-aid supplies, warm clothes, a blanket, cell-phone charger and a small snow shovel.
