Governor Tom Wolf has again called for state lawmakers to pass a revenue package.
If that doesn’t happen by next Friday, Sept. 15, Wolf warned that Pennsylvanians will “get hurt.” He said that is when he will have to start freezing some spending to prevent the state’s main bank account from going below zero.
Freezing spending could affect roads, schools, emergency response systems and volunteer fire companies.
