GOP-Controlled House Sends Budget Measure To Senate, But Gov. Not Impressed

The state House of Representatives is sending the Senate a borrowing package to help plug the state’s over $2 billion budget gap.

The Republican-controlled House passed the no-new-taxes package late Wednesday to the dismay of many Democrats.

Democratic Gov. Wolf said the plan doesn’t solve the state’s underlying financial problems.

Pennsylvania’s budget stalemate is in its third month.
