A Cranberry Township go-cart park won’t be required to rebuild a sound barrier wall.
When the Fun Fore All amusement park was built on Route 19 in the mid-90s, the township required a wall to be built to protect the park’s neighbors against loud sounds. However, the wall was knocked down by a storm earlier this year and the park asked the township if they had to rebuild.
The township said no, citing a new study that found that traffic noise from Route 19 was significantly louder than the noise from the go-carts.
