Bargain hunters and antique seekers are invited to a local annual event that kicks off tomorrow.
The GFWC Intermediate League of Butler is hosting their 70th Antiques Show and Sale beginning with an Opening Gala Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 at Tanglewood Senior Center in Lyndora.
The Gala will include 40 dealers with a large variety of antiques as well as boxed refreshments served at 7 p.m. Cost to attend the Opening Gala and the rest of the weekend is $10 advance or $11 at the door.
On Saturday doors open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Sunday hours 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A quilt raffle and cash door prize is also planned. Cost to attend Saturday and Sunday is $6 in advance or $7 at the door.
Tickets are available from club members as well as at Don Paul Jewelers on North Main Street. A major portion of proceeds will benefit 14 different local organizations.
