A couple events are going on out at Moraine State Park this weekend.
First, a beginner’s kayak paddle will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Valley Public Launch on the South Shore. Kayak and gear will be provided. This is an event for ages 12 and older. Pre-registration is required.
Also, the Muddy Creek Oil Field Living History Exhibit will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. off the Park Road Prospect exit. Volunteers will be on hand to operate the well and answer questions. Free refreshments will be provided.
Saturday is National Get Outdoors Day.
