The man behind the classic movie the “Night of the Living Dead” and other horror films has died.
George Romero died Sunday following a battle with lung cancer.
Much of “Night of the Living Dead” was shot in Butler County. There is a Living Dead Museum and Gift Shop located in Evans City which draws visitors from around the country.
Romero was 77 years old.
